Oscar Vasquez, Founder & CEO
As Founder and CEO, Oscar Vasquez is proud to lead Zonital International to the forefront of the direct sales and wellness products industry. Oscar’s tireless work ethic, sharp business acumen, and contagious energy have enabled him to achieve storybook success in business endeavors throughout his life.   

Oscar made his first $100,000 in network marketing at just 20 years old, and subsequently grew that base into a small fortune until “retiring” at age 32.  He later tackled the real estate industry, securing an impressive 25% market share within his region in less than 3 years. Now returning to his roots in the direct sales industry, Oscar is committed to sharing with others the same life-changing success he has enjoyed.  

The exciting Zonital opportunity was spawned from Oscar’s passion to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Mr. Vasquez’s vision enable Zonital to assemble a team of health experts that have developed science-based and physician-endorsed wellness products of unsurpassed quality and effectiveness. Jose Escamilla, COO
Jose owned and managed one of the most successful mortgage firms in his market for over 20 years, recently selling that firm profitability, in order to bring the same growth and momentum to Zonital.

Paul M. Janson, Operations
Mr. Janson has well over 15 years experience with international nutrition companies, growing one from a start-up to over $7 million in annual sales in less than 3 years. He is adept at coordinating research, development and launch, and has done so for over 25 novel products accounting for over $150 million in total revenues.

Mr. Janson's professional experience spans across Operations, Logistics, Management and Purchasing. He has been responsible for successful corporate performance in operational areas involving strategic planning, project management, supply chain management, inventory control, vendor relations, quality control, regulatory compliance, customer service, warehousing, and shipping. Due to outstanding service, Mr. Janson has been recognized in the International Who's Who of Professionals. Mr. Janson's career in the nutrition industry also includes international experience with numerous foreign markets such as Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan. Mr. Janson graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University's Marriot School of Business Management.

Scientific Advisors

Charles G. Jenkins, Ph.D., Obesity Specialist
A former Eagle Scout, Presbyterian minister, head of the Cook Theological School, and teacher at the ASU Center for Executive Development, and with many years of private psychological practice, he’s seen first hand the power of poor nutrition on every aspect of life, including mental health. 

Mr. Jenkins has also formerly served as the Director for Program and Personnel at the world-renown Canyon Ranch health and wellness retreat and spa. With a personal mission to address the health and wellness crisis in America, Charles Jenkins has also trained staff at additional weight loss clinics regarding the impact of life-long dietary habits, promoting the need for healthy supplements. As co-creator of the Scottsdale Diet, his perspective focuses on natural supplements as one of the keys to weight loss.

Jennifer Ferniza, M.S., CCN, CSCS*D, Research & Product Development
Jennifer Ferniza oversees product formulation, research, and quality control. Ms. Ferniza has over 15 years experience in the health and wellness industry and is listed in the Cambridge Who's Who of International Business Executives. Her professional experience includes 8 years as a business owner, 5 years in health club management, and 10 years working with a large nutrition company overseeing product development, research, regulatory compliance, quality control, and technical support services. She is also the Owner and Developer of Balanced Health Solutions, a unique wellness program that uses the latest in exercise and nutrition technology to assess individual needs and provide a balanced solution to creating optimum health.

Jennifer graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. Her research on the effects of dietary nutrients on metabolism and insulin regulation was published in the American Journal of Physiology. Jennifer also trained as a research assistant to one of the great pioneers in the field of enzyme therapy, Dr. Stan Bynum.

Jennifer is a certified clinical nutritionist and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. She is also certified in complementary medical nutrition, phlebotomy, and nutritional microscopy. Jennifer is an experienced speaker, author, and continuing education provider for health and fitness professionals.
